Bedtime

Bedtime is our favorite time of day. Blaise is reading Lord of the Rings with Anselm, and the two of them are enjoying it hugely, stopping frequently to discuss meanings of words and keep the extensive prehistory of Middleearth straight. After Eliot and I read, I get to sit with her as she winds down from her day. I work a little, and as she settles she asks questions and shares her thoughts. "What are blood vessels made of? How do they grow?... I remember that recently when I draw people I haven't been drawing their ears."
