Marshmallow test

While I was away recently, Blaise administered the marshmallow test to Eliot. He put a piece of chocolate (more of a favorite than marshmallows) in front of her, and told her that if she stayed still and didn't eat it, in twenty minutes, she would get a second piece. She sat, stock still, for the entire time.
