.. as Eliot called the dressed-up houses on our street. A wonderful, crazy Hallowe'ening.. hundreds of kids passing through on a balmy night. Maybe because we closed off the street, or because the truly remarkable Zombie Inc a block or two away was drawing away the crowds, it was a calmer scene than usual. We collaborated with our across-the-road neighbour Bill on a ghost that flew overhead across the street. Our house drew its usual share of photos, and we enjoyed the company of friends and family. I have to say that my pumpkin technique gradually improves.



Zombie Inc was a high-production-values house a block away-- a reopening party for a zombie labor company, complete with graphics, a live (or at least undead) band, twenty convincing zombies (one with a brain in her mouth) and even a protester.
