As far as I have seen, Gore has still not endorsed anybody. I'm curious, since my main reservations on Obama are on his environmental record (in particular, coal). Kerry supports him, which means something. Is Hillary better in this respect? Not obvious. But she is super strong on health care, which he isn't.
I have read both of their memoirs in the last couple of years and was impressed with both of them. Dreams of my Father is a tremendous book, intelligent and sensitive-- a fascinating life, finely written. Hillary's narrative was also gripping: a lifelong mission to change things for the better. While more of a gloss, I still found it very moving (maybe because I read it when I was away from a baby for the first overnight trip). Obama's a wonderful guy, smart, handsome, talented, different. But will he fight for our issues as Hillary will? Wish we could have the two of them as pres and vice. Can that happen?
Well, if not Hillary this time, maybe we'll get a chance to elect Chelsea one day :-).
