New desk

Now he is a second grader, Anselm has a new desk for his room. We had fun visiting Seattle's "mid-century" furniture stores on the weekend and found him a simple, neat, practical, '70s teak desk that has already had hours of use this week. Anselm loves it because he can do his homework away from the endless verbal spring that is his little sister, and he can work on Lego projects that don't have to be taken off the floor for the Friday cleaning.
