Yesterday:
M: "Let's ask Michael to give us a bread-making lesson."
E: "Michael Berry or Michael Brodesky?"
Today:
E: "Mum, has that pain gone out of your shoulder?"
M: "Not quite, but it's better than yesterday."
E: "You know who could make it better-- Trippett."
M: "Who's Trippett? Patricia's chiropractor?"
E: "No, her acupuncturist."
Sometimes it does feel like we are living with a much older person.
