On Saturday we went out to a farm near Issaquah to celebrate Alex's fourth birthday. It is a charming place and the kids were in heaven. They held baby rabbits, saw chicks, met a one-foot high miniature pony foal, rode a pony, swung on a rope in a hay loft andjumped in a bouncy castle for a long, long time. Pure joy.
