Fakana and Saan

A couple of days ago Eliot announced that she has "two-year-old children"-- an iPhone recharging cradle and a dime. She named them Fakana and Saan, and is now running around upstairs calling for them.

(This morning, the little family was joined by an iPod speaker volume control, named Tang, and a tiny book, called Mary.)

I'm amused by the combination of family/nurturing and the love of technical gadgets. It's not as though there aren't dolls and buggies and little bottles and tea sets for her to use; she just prefers to play with the winch and the iPhone cradle.
