Must see

The Henry has an exhibition of William Kentridge, a South African artist we learned about through an exhibition at the New Museum in NYC almost ten years ago. The show features a masterwork we saw then, the film Stereoscope, which has haunted me all these years and I am grateful for the opportunity to see again. There are also some examples of stereoscopic pictures which the kids found intriguing. Eliot, surprisingly to me, registered the depth instantly. The two of them found the film challenging and talked about it all the way home.
