We saw a shattering film tonight, Waltz with Bashir.. story of a man trying to recover lost memories of his role as a 19 year old soldier during the Sabra/Shatila massacres. It is animated, similarly to the Linklater film Waking Life, to amazing effect. This may not sound promising but we found it extremely moving.Wednesday, February 18, 2009

We saw a shattering film tonight, Waltz with Bashir.. story of a man trying to recover lost memories of his role as a 19 year old soldier during the Sabra/Shatila massacres. It is animated, similarly to the Linklater film Waking Life, to amazing effect. This may not sound promising but we found it extremely moving.
