Love and marriage

Boys and camouflage; girls and marriage. Eliot loves to sing crisply and clearly: "It won't be a STYLISH marriage.." and told me the other day "I want to marry you!". She has had exactly the same exposure to the marriage concept as Anselm had-- the closing scenes of Babar when he and Celeste get married (to which she has always seemed relatively indifferent). She's a social-concept-forming machine.
