On Friday, Blaise and I carved out a bit of time in the middle of the day to pick Anselm up from his "science of superheroes" half-day camp at the Science Center. We took him out for lunch and then visited the SAM. We saw the Roman sculptures from the Louvre (we tried last weekend with Sophia's family but were overwhelmed by the crowds), and Ghiberti's newly restored Gates of Paradise. Anselm was excited about both, diligently listening to every numbered station on his audio tour, and asking for a recounting of all the Biblical scenes in the panels.
