I'm coming home today from several days in La Jolla. No camera cable so here's what's on the iPhone.. Eliot on Windandsea, preparing my talk on my quiet day between family departure and my talk at UCSD, and the
famous atrium of the Salk Institute, ending at a cliff over the sea. We stayed at The Shores, where dolphins play all day in the surf right in front of the hotel, and teams of enormous pelicans soar just over the waves in perfect unison, one wingtip almost skimming the water, flight path undulating gravely up and down-- unnecessarily beautiful.
