Our last Kentridge event was last night: Monteverdi's Return of Ulysses, with puppets, and a projected film backdrop incorporating surgeries, stitched landscapes, CAT scans, anxious images of mortality. Unique, and a pure delight. Joseph and Cathy came with us to see it at the Moore Theatre, a very appropriate setting: grandeur approaching decrepitude.Saturday, March 21, 2009
