Multicultural night
Our second of these, I have to say, was less inspired than last year's-- too many items, and lacking a special song that drew everyone together. But our first graders did a great job on their Chinese ribbon dance, and sang their songs with delight. Eliot was exhaustingly squirmy and the evening went on rather too long. I think the highlight was Anselm and Blaise's dinner out afterward with Sophia's and Sorija's families. The kids sat at their own table at a late-night Broadway noodle place, then all repaired to Vivace for a nightcap before crashing at home at almost 11pm.
