Chess

Anselm's class have been doing a unit at school on chess, though many of them play the game already. It's a good idea. They bring home worksheets with diagrams, exercises and questions every few days. I like the math of describing the allowed moves, making diagrams for actions, generalization, and the comprehension exercises translating diagrams to language.
