Our lives have hit a very regular rhythm, thanks to Eliot, who is a routine kind of person (unlike the other three of the household). She wakes up at 7am, +/- 5 minutes, asks for a bottle, launches into a conversation with her few most recently learned words, asks for some books to be read. Anselm wakes about 8, we all have breakfast, Blaise and Anselm do some reading together (he's just starting to read now), then at 9am Eliot has pushed her stroller to the door and is shouting "Stroller! Stroller!". We all walk Anselm the two blocks to school. Blaise jumps on the bus, I head back. On her way home she is thinking ahead about the next step: "Jessy! House!". We get home at 6 and make dinner; the moment Eliot has finished eating (she's a huge eater) she shouts "Bath! Bath!". Once she's in PJs she reads a book and then points to her bed.
You can see who runs the show around here.
