Happy scene at school dropoff this morning: Anselm spots another boy and catches up with him, smiling, putting his hand lightly on his shoulder. The other boy turns, smiles back, and puts his arm around Anselm. They walk like that to the classrooms, and have to be called back for a goodbye hug. The other boy, Liam, is in the other kindergarten class, but they have met at lunchtime and recess. Liam asks his mom to organize a playdate.
Hurray! We had no reason to expect him to have difficulties with the social scene, but it's good to see things going well.
