My "Christmas in Australia" appearance on Friday seemed to go over well. I tried to make a nice balance of astronomy [how seasons work], geography [is Australia a country or a continent], history [the penal colonies], biology [Anselm's animal mobile], culture [British food and beaches], drama [a simulated Australian accent.. that part , I admit, drew a lot of blank looks] and cookie [shortbread].
It was my second appearance in Rm 105. I also recently helped out with an experiment where we tested the food preferences of land snails. It worked-- we got data, though rather slowly, presumably not surprisingly.
