I am in Aspen, on what must be one of the best scientific "vacations" available in the US. Great people, great talks, beautiful, enormous rooms, fine food, an excellent outdoor lap pool with views over snowy peaks, and today, a trip out whitewater rafting. The river was high, and it was fabulous.

Aspen
