Fish

Last weekend, Eliot and I spent our Sunday afternoon out together: we saw the Hopper exhibition at SAM, then went to Chinatown to buy my train tickets for Vancouver on Monday. That didn't work, but we happened to park alongside an aquarium store, where we spent a very happy almost an hour. Eliot was fascinated by the huge, squirmy worms, getting much closer than squeamish I was comfortable with. We wrapped up the afternoon with a trip to Uwajimaya to pick up ingredients to make a Thai curry and do the general cultural sightseeing that is shopping there. Last stop: a new outlet of a Japanese cream-puff bakery!









In the pictures she is sporting her new haircut, and an attempt at pigtails. She saw herself in the mirror and said "I look like another little girl-- I look like someone else's little girl." Indeed.
