Our ersatz Christmas

Our plans for a Florida Christmas confounded by the snow, we have had a quiet and calm few days at home, staying within ten blocks of the house. Friends rushed in to fill the gap of family, for which we are very grateful: a lovely Christmas Eve traditional Italian dinner with Stefania, Craig and family, and Christmas night dinner and a hannukah party today with Barak, Nancy, Tova and Miriam.
