Snow!

It has been very cold in Seattle this weekend, and Saturday night it started to snow: a beautiful scene viewed from the Gedyes' picture window onto the Green Lake luminaria.

The snow persisted long enough for a real snow day today. Anselm and Chris did the usual boy thing of breaking ice; Eliot put a few negative touches to Chris' snowman; and I pulled her on the sled up to the park to toboggan. We met Dylan, Eva, Liam and Ruby up there, and the kids had a ball sliding down the modest hill for a long, long time. Anselm and Blaise met up with Tova and Barak and went to a steeper part of the park.

Later, Anselm, Eliot and Tova went to see Cinderella at Northwest Puppet Theatre, which Eliot especially found amusing, then we all met up for a late lunch. Anselm and Tova really have fun together. Long may it last.
