Balls and dolls*

Anselm and Eliot are very into "catch" at the moment. Eliot believes that an important component of a game she calls "baseball" is to produce a high-pitched laughing scream while throwing the ball. When we went to play in the basement yesterday, she found her baby doll there. "Throw dolly!" she says, and she and Anselm start a game tossing baby around the room. My little nurturer. Does lead one to wonder about order effects for children.
