It's all over now

Anselm is turning six tomorrow, and this evening told us that he was a little bit sad (amidst the excitement), as five is the perfect age-- halfway between a little kid and a big kid. I think he's sort of right about that. I see he has inherited my keenly felt childhood nostalgia. Let's observe the Montessori tradition and see a picture for every year.
