Single mom without jetlag

I guess it's not possible to still be jetlagged. Blaise is in Cairo this week.

Eliot has been joining me for coffee at Volunteer Park Cafe after school drop off. She's been a little scratchy lately (maybe those elusive teeth at last?) and is missing dad-- a.k.a. "that man", following the last lengthy trip away.

We had a dinner of three women neuroscientists and a house full of kids last night and it's a lot of fun to see how the little guys get on together. An eternal mystery to me: why do little boys need to transport every single elongated object from the basement to the other floors? It's universal so it must be deep. I look to Freud.
