I know you're all desperate to know...

.. how did Halloween go? Here's the only picture available right now. The class trick-or-treated in the neighbourhood at some selected Room 105 houses during the morning. Lot of very happy kids. Anselm's Luke Skywalker was assembled entirely from things we had at home (fortunately we remembered the "spy belt" with cool gadgets which must have come from the Museum of Natural History.. and we did have a choice of two lightsabers already in stock-- so "homemade" would be a stretch).

We had a get together for Room 105 here during the craziness that was trick-or-treating on our street. We were only somewhat spooky-- our trees and hedge do a lot of the work for us. Neighbours on all sides went for high-tech scariness. Making our street quite the destination. But I'd like to think our brand of candle-powered old-fashioned spooky had its fans (we got our share of photos, anyway). The kids jumped their sillies out in the dungeon's bouncy castle while adults shared a glass of wine upstairs. And Blaise and I took turns handling the constant stream at the door. I'd prepared for a thousand candy handouts and we got through 9/10 of what we had.

More photos will follow, hopefully-- wasn't time to take many!
